Founded in 1996 by the parents of a child with autism, Autismshop.com is the online home of the Autism Resource Network (ARN), a one-of-a-kind Book & Toy Shop that is packed with merchandise and information for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and the people who love, care for, and educate them.
Here you will find hundreds of items that educate, increase awareness, and improve lives.
We are always on the lookout for new chewies, fidgets, sensory items, games, toys, books, and visual aids to expand and refine our line-up. Please call us with your ideas. Some of our most popular items came to us via suggestions from our terrific customers.
In the past, we have published a quarterly newsletter, and provided hundreds of Minnesota families with free New Parent Portfolios.
We have manufactured beautiful holiday cards and note cards (designed by exceptional artists and parents), and commissioned glass, watercolor, and graphic artists to create awareness pins, totes, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and denim jackets for us (American Idol Clay Aiken has one).
The My Schedule Board line of products was created by us and we served as a consultant to the Eye Box Tools family of visual supports.
Locally, regionally and nationally, we have installed on-site book stores at autism conferences, and sponsored events and workshops of our own.
Your business and support are greatly appreciated!
We are firm believers that autism is treatable and that a great number of our children are recoverable. We have seen it and we have lived it.
